Aloha Our devoted Kona Coffee lovers,
I started a dream in February, 1975, of producing a Heritage coffee of the highest quality. I bought an abandoned 8.26 acre coffee farm covered mostly with 20ft. of jungle overgrowing the old growth coffee trees. With the help of my brother, Tom and wife, Penny, we got the farm cleared and producing.
Now with 43 years and 45 acres into my passion, it is time to pass it on. I’ve been lucky that my younger brother Stephen, a Biologist from Coos Bay, Oregon, had a son Andrew that has developed an interest in learning all that I have in my brain and continue the dream. He is a good fit with his quick learning skills that include traditional and cultural respect.
I am confident and proud to have Andy carry on the passion and Aloha that has made Langenstein Farms 100% Estate Kona Coffee.
Mahalo Nui Loa for all your lengthly support and Aloha. I won’t be gone, just not as active with some time away for grandkids and maybe a trip back east (Mom makes 97).
